YT / ESM Hurricane - Laser 200 in-line twin

Ah Your tank appears to be rectangular and difference in the cylinder height makes up the difference. Also Very handy seeing how the wing is constucted as I have a bigger hole to cut in mine. So will reinforce the skin with some glass cloth. -
YT / ESM Hurricane - Laser 200 in-line twin

Where did you mount the tank in you hurricane? You don't seem to have any running problems. I have the same hurricane and due to a shortage of laser 200.inlines I have fitted a laser 180 but to get the fuel tank any where near the level of the carb it'll have to go in the wing and on the bottom skin of the wing gets the centre carb only 2/3 of the way up the tank. The laser 180 is only 12mm taller than the laser 100 cylinder. -
I waited so long for a laser 360v I ended up buying a second hand one.

Yes I would like a 70cc Vtwin. Please
-
Hi David I have an alpha f86 that needs a new home if you're interested. Kind regards Mike
-
Hi Jon a 90cc radial for me please.
-
Hi Jon Pm sent Cheers Mike

Hi Jon What size prop would you suggest for the laser 200 FT? I had it mounted in a corsair but was waiting on parts so I mounted it in an xtrawot and used a 18x8 g sonic. It went like a rat up a drain pipe! So I was thinking maybe something bigger 20x8 maybe? Ron have you flown the Wotswot xl yet how did it go?
-
Hi Jon I'd like a radial as discussed previously the 360v twin maybe adequate for my big corsair but a 540 3 cylinder radial would be great. So that's my vote and a 200inline and the future 360inline as that projects going to need a bit more work.

Very nice Ron The extra cooling may help in the summer months.?

When the engines running it'll make a great hand warmer on a day like today

Ron looks goods and sounded good on the video. Looking forward to seeing the flight video. Wheres your cooling air exit?
-
Hi Ron the exhaust is looking good and so is the weather, are ypu going to get to fly the mustang this week?
-
During the war they just glad to have 2 wings from the same plane!

Ron a set of exhusts stacks would be great. One of the guys bought his SLR camera got some great pictures but it shows the blemishes in the paint work. YouCut_20220320_221930927.mp4
