  1. Thank you, that would be perfect. I'll PM my email address to you.
  2. Good to know, thanks. I have a Perry stashed away somewhere among the clutter.
  3. I have a set of plans for a 1/6th scale DH-84 Dragon plans designed by Ron Hodsdon for Radio Control Model World. I'm interested in finding the construction article from that magazine (which I assume to be out of print?). Any leads are appreciated.
  4. I understand this Merco .61 to be a Black Streak? Is so, is there any published information on the engine? I'm particularly interested in the carb adjustments. I mounted this engine on and airplane and had fits trying to set a good idle. On a lark I moved that lever all the way back and presto! It has the nicest smooth idle I have ever seen. Top end is good also, swinging a 12-8 with no problem.
  5. Thanks! It's been so long since I used one that I had forgotten how it works. 😀
  6. I have this Merco muffler I would like to use on a Merco .49. Not being able to find information on how to set up this muffler, can any of you provide suggestions? As assembled, it looks to be a sealed chamber when clamped together, restricting exhaust gas flow. What would be the purpose of the exhaust tube? Is the rib in each muffler half ground away and the tube provides the sound reduction?
  7. Yes, an account needs to be created to view the forum. If you're not familiar with RCSB, there are some fantastic scale models under construction or flying.
  8. You chaps might be interested in this Stampe thread on RC Scalebuilder. https://www.rcscalebuilder.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=33176&PN=1&TPN=1
  9. I assume the claw hammer came to good use? 🐵
  10. Bert, what are the wheels you’re using? They look like 1930’s low pressure tires.
  11. You might find this Stampe build thread interesting. https://www.rcscalebuilder.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=33176&PN=1&TPN=1 You may need to create an account to view the thread.
  12. Here's the completed Contender dressed up as a RN Balliol. I want to make the first flight this week as I'm off to a meet next weekend and want to have tested before I go. Some stats: Axi 4120-14 with Jeti Opto 77 ESC and 4000 ma 4S1P battery which should get around 8 - 9 minutes of flying. The prop is a Master Airscrew 12-8.  Markings by Callie Graphics with Monokote and Ultracote covering.  Ready to fly weight 3.57Kg. Edited By Michael Denest on 30/08/2020 17:08:27
