  1. Whilst browsing through the RCM&E photo archive this morning, I came across this photo and it made me smile! Perfect, I thought, for one of our caption competitions. As usual, the winner will become the proud owner of some RCM&E goodies... so give us your best caption.
  2. Thank you very much for your thoughts, I have sent these on also. If I hear anything, I will be sure to keep you all informed. Beth
  3. Posted by Donald Fry on 17/03/2016 17:15:15: Winge and whine. Got an e mail to renew digital subscription. Tried to renew. Enter subscriber number, pasted, enter e mail address, done, enter password, and the stupid site says I have got one wrong, or invalid format, but does not give a clue as to which one, and in any case I have not made an error, or had a senile moment. Ended up phoning. At my expense, from France. At this point I am fed up. I thought seriously about not renewing. Same problem next year, won't happen, I am gone. Please no, we are sorry about.....blah blah, we take customer .....seriously, blah blah. This is fair warning. Rant over We don't want renewing your magazine to be difficult just as much as you don't Donald. I have contacted our Subscriptions Manager and given her your information and asked that she takes a look into this. Beth
  4. A quick message from Peter Miller.... He has been without broadband for 10 days now, but hopes to get back on soon and is looking forward to catching up with all your Ballerina builds.
  5. Robin - deleted for you! If this happens again, you can either report it and one of the mods will delete it or message one of us! Beth
  6. Concerns have been raised in recent threads and action has already been taken in USA and Eire. We know the EASA discussion process is under way in Europe and their proposals are due this Spring. What do you think would be acceptable, if changes to the status quo are proposed.... Edited By David Ashby - RCME on 11/02/2016 07:00:22
  7. Hi all, Around a month or so before your subscription is due for renewal you should receive a letter in the post saying as much. I'm sorry to hear you have had such difficulty in getting a renewal, that is not what we want! I will speak to the subs department and see if there is anything in the future we can do to make it easier. In regards to the time scale of it arriving in Dubai, I know that on MyHobbyStore we ask to allow 2 - 3 weeks for delivery, it may not be the same for the subs dept but I would give it a few more days just in case. They are very good at responding to emails but you could always try giving them a call in order to renew... occasionally it can be easier to speak to someone directly. Hope this helps! Beth
  8. There will be a full report from Nuremburg in the April issue of RCM&E but in the meantime, have a look at J.Perkins facebook page... they've got a few shots from the show there.
  9. Thank you for all of your contributions to the caption competition. After a lot of discussion, we have decided that Ian Jones' "This is the cub run-around for anyone with a pawnee, no seat belts, so mustang on." is the worthy winner! Watch out in the post very soon Ian...
  10. Thank you for all your captions so far... You all have one more day and then we will be announcing the winners! There's still time yet!
  11. Oh no! This really is a question for the subs department. They'll be able to tell you when you should receive your first mag - [email protected]
  12. To cheer everyone up on these gloomy winter days, I thought a caption competition was in order! Write your captions below and the best will win some RCM&E prizes! Happy captioning!
  13. This should now all be sorted, many thanks for your patience with this.
  14. Evening all, Unfortunately it appears there is currently some problems with subscribers accessing the subscribers only area including the archives and articles. It seems to be a general system fault and the subscriptions bureau are currently working on fixing this as soon as possible. Please bear with us, I'll let you know as soon as I hear any word. 15. Hi Keith, Normally, you would contact through this page here - http://www.myhobbystore.co.uk/contact/ . But as I am the contact, feel free to ask me here! Beth
  16. To mark the start of a New Year what plans do you have in regards to your flying? Thanks to Extra Slim for this poll suggestion. Take a look and discuss below...
  17. Hi Dave, You are right, you can access the Online Archive if you purchase a digital subscription directly through us. The only scenario in which you would not have access to the archive would be if you are a print subscriber, or if the subscription is bought through third party (e.g. Directly through Apple or Google Play). Perhaps there was a miscommunication with the information given, but in any case, the subscriptions team have been made aware. I hope this helps! Beth
  18. Pete, If you drop an email to [email protected] with your order number, I can look into this for you. Beth
  19. The Ballerina accessories pack RCME526 would cost £9.98 to New Zeland Ballerina CNC Parts Pack RCME523 is £41.99 the Ballerina Woodpack RCME524 is £41.99   Ballerina Ribs & Wing Tip CNC RCME525 is £9.98   However if you purchase all four, you would pay £49.97 which would save you money instead of buying them separately.   All of the packs are sent securely using DPD ensuring delivery, this can contribute to the perhaps, higher postage costings.
  20. Reading this thread has made my morning, I'm so pleased to have had a hand in making all your Christmases! If your address is listed in your profile, I've just sent them. So even if you haven't heard from me and your name is there, it's probably for you! Enjoy your prizes! (Sorry Dylan, it's a randomly generated thing!)
  21. We wanted to wish all readers and forumites a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, enjoy the time with your families and we look forward to a great new year. David, Beth, BEB, Chris, Pete and Steve
