Hi Ton, managed to maiden the Yellow yesterday between rain showers. Flies like on rails from the beginning, setup almost as recommended. Love it! Span is a little shorter, only 78 cm. Akku is a 1300 mAH. And the prop is an ApC 7x6, motor as recommended. Speed ctr. is Wasaby 35 Amp. Regards, Franz

Hi Ton, purchased a kit second hand. The instruction is very short and numbering of parts is missing in the fuselage construction overview. Nevertheless I managed to assemble the fuselage and built in right thrust. The only part I am missing in the plan now is the fuselage front top planking, on formers F2A, F3A and F4A (two parts. The 3mm balsa ring does not match exactly, needs to be shaped to fuselage tapering from cowl to cockpit section. From your pictures this section seems to be very flat. Will refer to the sections of the formers on the plan. Greets, Franz

Hi Simon, Have been looking a long time on this project. Some years ago my wife and me were flying from Exeter to Salzburg in that fly be 400 arriving very late for Christmas eve, after having changed the plane 2 times. So we tried out 3 different Dash 8. Only minor technical problems? Anyway! Living near Salzburg, these planes fly over my house at least 3 times a day. Mainly Air Berlin. So I decided now it is time to build one.
