  1. Hacker a10 with 4.4:1 gearbox perhaps? Available in 3 different Kv ratings to suite the battery/prop combination required. Just make sure that cooling is adequate as, over time, excessive heat breaks down the adhesive holding the pinion onto the motor shaft and you lose drive. Easy enough to fix, the gearbox unscrews easily and you just have to reattach the pinion with permanent loctite and reassemble.
  2. The Atrizan recommends 1800 to 2200 mAh and the Easter Eagle power system on 4-Max uses a 1000mAh 3s. the 2200 would probably bo OK for the Pushy Cat too.
  3. Any particular model in mind? Space and CoG also need to be considered.
  4. Many years ago a manager I worked with would often feel ill on a Thursday, phone in sick on Friday and return, miraculously cured, on the following Tuesday. We referred to his mystery illness as "Deja 'Flu".
  5. You will need either a dongle or a wired USB interface regardless of the transmitter you choose.
  6. Refit the 4-Max motor with a few degrees of downthrust and try again, repeat until happy. You can always limit the power by throttling down or reducing the throttle range in settings. I have one model which climbs on full throttle and it wasn't possible to increase the downthrust so I mixed in some down elevator to the throttle which keeps it level as you wind the power up. Mix can be turned on and off as required.
  7. Lidl sell a digital hot air gun, fully adjustable temperature and fan speed, it's very good.
  8. Hobbyking's latest 32 bit Aerostar and the equivalent Beatles ESC are my preferred choice.
  9. If you use the stabilised versions make sure that the BEC can supply enough current. I had a few brown outs using an ESC with a low spec bec and digital servos.
  10. I have several Lemon 6 channel receivers and the non stabilised versions are in a number of gliders. They have out of sight range. Don't ask me how I know.
  11. Our neutered ginger tom cat would regularly see off the local foxes, we used to call him "Ginger No Nuts".
  12. "I am sure the layout is fundamentally stable however ". The full size X3 suffered from roll inertia coupling........ "Walker made an abrupt left roll at Mach 0.92 and an altitude of 30,000 feet (9,100 metres). The X-3 rolled as expected, but also pitched up 20° and yawed 16°. The aircraft gyrated for five seconds before Walker was able to get it back under control. He then set up for the next test point. Walker put the X-3 into a dive, accelerating to Mach 1.154 at 32,356 ft (9,862 m), where he made an abrupt left roll. The aircraft pitched down and recorded an acceleration of -6.7 g (-66 m/s²), then pitched upwards to +7 g (69 m/s²). At the same time, the X-3 side-slipped, resulting in a loading of 2 g (20 m/s²). Walker managed to bring the X-3 under control and successfully landed."... courtesy of Wikipedia.
  13. Was just about to bid then I saw that the seller won't post it!
  14. Inner tubes are the most reliable part of a land rover. Unfortunately modern land rovers use tubeless tyres.🤣
  15. If it's 64 inch span, the manual is here. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/751792/Black-Horse-Model-Chipmunk-Bh44.html And when you say "new to this", exactly how new?

  19. Just make sure that you choose "storage" and not "discharge" on your charger.
  20. I was in a bar last night, and the waitress screamed, "Anyone know CPR?" I said, "I know the entire alphabet." Everyone laughted.... Well, except one guy
