Small DLG flying on Hampstead Heath?

Hi there, I live in NW3 and have just built from scratch out foamboard with my 9 year old son his (our) first model plane. It's all up and running but wondered if anyone is local that could help us with our maiden flight as neither one of us has any experience, I'm also hoping that doing it on hampstead heath will be ok regards daniel
