Thanks Dick. I am beginning to wish I had gone for the 4S set up. I'll see how the Hawk goes when our flying site re-opens after covid 19 closure.

I have just built a Hawk minijet using the exact spec of wood, ESC, servos and fan as shown on the TND plan. The plan states a 625g weight (AUW) but mine comes in at 618g without the battery which is another 182g. I cannot understand why mine is that much heavier than specified by Tony Nijhuis. I have the same issue with the Folland Gnat minijet and that headed straight for terraferma immediately after it's maiden launch. Anyone else had this problem with the weight? Rob
