  1. No worries Ron , i appreciate it was a few months back. Thanks for the link to the site where you ordered from though. Do you have a link to the exact one you ordered , as there is a fair selection of different types of film on their homepage ... and i was lost at that point !!! cheers Ian
  2. Hi Ron Do you still have any of your large roll of 38 micron matt laminating film for sale ? If so could i have 10m or so please ? your excellent test videos have have inspired me to resurrect a couple of old projects needing recovering. cheers Ian
  3. Hi Jon Love that flat twin concept .... You can put my name down for a 200 size please. cheers Ian
  4. How about 1/3 to 1/2 way out on each wing leading edge, like a pair of landing lights .... good effect as plane is turning and coming towards you ? You will lose a lot of the effect of them on the top of the tail or under / top of the fuselage ...... You could fit both in the nose cowl pointing forward though .... But i like the wings idea. cheers Ian
  5. Nice one cymaz ..... Sounds simple and classy ? Thanks for the link to the lettering company. Just had a quick play around on it and could defo be useful ... and ok pricing to boot. cheers Ian
  6. Hi cymaz Joe's taxi is coming along nicely i reckon . And that DLE30 should certainly haul it around nicely as well. With a bit of paint n detailing the solid alloy undercarriage n hubcaps will look a treat. Any ideas on livery yet ? keep up the good work cheers Ian
  7. Hi Cymaz Great project .... More info and pics please... This is gonna be good. One of these is defo on my want list to build . As a newish flyer i cant wait to to get a classic larger model. I'm subbed. cheers Ian
  8. Hi Model Monster and Everyone I just saw this thread and thought i'd throw in my tuppenceworth and see if theres been any further updates to the " unsatisfactory free gift " offer from RCM&E ? I also tried online and over the phone to subscribe , having finally been tempted by the useful permagrit offer .... I was also very disappointed to be offered lipo sacs .... which i didnt want or have a use for ... so i left it and will remain an unsubscriber until the permagrit or other useful offer returns .... The lady i spoke to was pleasant enough , but was presumably just raising subscriptions for all magazines and had no knowledge of the offers available , just what came up on her screen . It is a very misleading " offer " and really should be clarified .... Or maybe its deliberately misleading to tempt in new subscribers who will just accept the cheaper replacement free offers they receive with a muted self moan.... Has there been any "escalation" of sorting out the misrepresentation ? cheers Ian
  9. This deserves to go back to the top . Fantastic job Phil Cooke . You are an exceptional builder and detailer. cheers Ian
  10. Hi there Devcon1 Did you ever finish and fly this Wot4 ? I have just acquired an old Wot4 Mk3 and was thinking of converting it to electric ... Do you have any more details of your installation , and how it performs .... assuming you have managed to get it airborne and get some hours on it ? Love the pale grey scheme , most interested to see what kind of colour accents you added to give the final effect. cheers Ian
