Hi, I have recently moved to a village called Sutton, about 6 miles west of Ely. I need to find a club nearby to join. Does anyone know of one and who I would need to contact? I mainly fly IC. Cheers Chris

Pick a plane 2008

I've personally always wanted to have a Westland Whirlwind as a model, but then, I do prefer the less common models. 2nd would be the Stuka with the Storch finishing a close 3rd. -

Whats the best flying wing?
Chris Collins replied to Chris Collins's topic in General Electric Flight Chat
lol I must admit that electric power still confuses me I had a automatic charger for my Nicads/NmHs etc (think it is a Novo Pro? Yellow thingy) and these lipos seem to have replaced everything. I did pick up a couple of 2s lipo batterys + charger (they were for a helicopter I believe). I don't know the power of them but I guess if I can find a flying wing to suit those then that would be ideal. -

Thanks Chris for the links. Looks good. Since I'm moving house currently everything is packed away in boxes. I might have to go hunting for batteries etc to see if I've got anything suitable -

Oops sorry I'm looking for a powered model to fly off a flat field. I guess best for performance against price. One of the pluses with the Zaggi was it's £45 price tag (if I remember correctly). I've seen an advert for the Mini Slinger and wondered what that would be like. I can't be too precise about the conditions that I will be flying it in since I just left my club due to the fact that I am moving in the next couple of months to a village called Sutton (just west of Ely) and don't know what clubs there are in that area yet. -
Hi all, I just thought I'd get the forum's opinion on what is the best flying wing out there. I had a Zaggi a few years ago and fancy getting something similar. What do you recommend?

Just starting out and have some questions..

Its a real pain when that happens, especially when you realise that the plane you were concentrating on is actually a fly and thats when the frantic searching begins... :-) -
IMHO, there are too many of these TBH! Some texts/messages are worst than cryptic crosswords trying to figure out what people are saying. Especially if you add my wifes spelling/texting ability into the equation lol. IMHO - In My Humble Opinion TBH - To Be Honest LOL - Laugh Out Loud Chris
