  1. Hi Steve, what an ace you are, that link goes much further than the one I was hunting, great stuff. I kept my original copy somewhere safe," erm "too safe cos I have mislaid it., DP
  2. Thanks , Max , a nice site, the info I'm after is on a simple flat Leading edge , seem to remember a "K" factor .
  3. Hi , can anyone help me in finding the Depron wing data that , I believe Nigel Hawes had in a magazine article. dealing with multilayer leading edges to flat wings , I think it was in relation to a cutlass design?
  4. Aint you guys got some building to get on with, you can check out what's flying nearby on the app-- flightradar24. currently there are some 23 identified ,[it even tells you details of the plane] aircraft nearby the west Cotswolds , where I live. Back to building I go
  5. an interesting topic, we get 2/3 of these calls a day. our current approach on the land line is to pick up the phone and say nothing then generally within a few seconds they hang up. By the way most of these numbers are not traceable they belong to groups of phone numbers not in general use, there are blocks of numbers retained for advertising/ film/ tv uses , normally connected with country capitals , eg London hence the 02---. certain companies hire /loan them out !. its seems that's the current way to overcome the call blocking devices that bt and other offer.
  6. Hi Bob, Just come back from my old plans store [files] . Your model is most certain to be a version of Phil Krafts Kwik Fli 2. Plans were published April 1965 in the old US mag RCM , check out their plan No59. There was and maybe still is, a smaller version in our own RCM&E from December 1968 a free plan, called Flea Fli at 38.75 ins 66% scale of the original size. hope this is of some use, cheers, dejampea
  7. Could that be a DH Chipmunk, don't keep us in suspence too long !
  8. no .! you tickle it like a fish on the line nudge them gently with your thumb on the side of the stick, that way if your models trimmed out it responds smo-o-othly. Ok- if you're indoors or flying like a extrovert outside graple with the stick tops with your thumbs and call radio interference when things go wrong.
