  1. the mystery part is used with an air compressor to blow up things like kids paddling pools and inflatables through a self sealing patch. It could be for the tyres.
  2. I went to Lidl for the digital heat gun, just £23 pounds in price. had a quick play with it, lovely. You can set output heat in 10 degree spaces, fan has 5 settings and it auto cools when you switch off. Wil be perfect for heat shrinking and plastic forming. mike
  3. my local pubs beer garden has a bin for discarded vapes, the last time i looked it was half full !
  4. the reason for getting the connector was to take advantage of the free batteries found on every street corner. also known as vapes. here are two i have used. the flat one is 430 mah, the round one is 500 mah.

  8. hi can anybody tell me what is the name of the battery connector used by these mini aircraft. I have looked on line and not been able to find it. pin spacing looks to be 2mm, are they molex, jst or other. thanks Mike

  11. Hi cliff, I have this model kit bought from the balsa cabin several years ago at one of the nationals. keep threatening to build it, even bought the motors. Will look forward to a build log if you decide to do one. mike
