Watts up ? -
I managed to get a scroll saw of Amazon, it was a refurbished model but it didn't have a mark on it when it arrived. I use the good reliable no 11 blade, razor saw, coping saw and a selection of sanding blocks etc. for most things and break out the power tools for the thick and hard bits. I find if you dont rush it and pop the radio on and enjoy the crafting of individual parts before you know it you have a full kit of bits. A good cutting mat and a vice help too!

Morning folks, I've just acquired a few engines from the estate of a modeller who passed away a couple of years ago. I'm looking to try and restore one or two but am looking in vain for parts at a reasonable price. The bits I'm looking for at the moment are: OS 702 clamp on type muffler OS or similar carb with a 9mm diameter neck looking through the box I may have some other bits and pieces to pass on to interested parties. So far I can see a couple of PAW needle valves and some other OS crank cases such as a PET .99 OS.10 and a couple of OS MAX 111 .15s and an old Rossi .15 CL speed engine if any body is interested drop me a message.

Jet Pack Paramedic - Coming to a Hillside Near You!
Rob replied to EvilC57's topic in Jets and Turbines
I think the problem is a mater of equipment transport, when a first responder gets to a patient what do they do? I know its nice for a patient to see assistance come over the hill towards them but then what.....? The most qualified paramedic with no useful kit is a first-aider. I'm not knocking the idea but practically its a bit of a novelty and if there was an accident whilst flying or landing you've them got multiple patients on the hill side. Now jet powered quad bikes would be an idea.....! . -

Saw that article at work the other night funnily enough on an Ambulance station .......To say we laughed was an understatement.
