BILL PETTIT
Just arrived in the mail my WebBit from the other side of the Pond. I am happy to do this build for a good cause since I am recovering from my second hip replacement due to Arthritis ( doing fine too thank you).I will do my best to catch up but at the present, time on the stool in the shop will be limited. See you in the thread Bill

BILL PETTIT
Something I like to do before epoxying things together is drill little pin holes with of course a pin vise drill. It seems to add extra strength to a butt joint like this. ( OK a show of hands) how many of you almost set them on the wing backwards. As you can see in the picture I have it lied up backwards. But I caught myself, Chris I seem to be missing the sub fin in my kit too but no worries I have a scrap bin tooBill Edited By BILL PETTIT on 27/04/2011 20:19:
BILL PETTIT
Well as you may or may not have herd the weather over here is out of control, Hurricanes, Tornadoes, violent thunder and lightning with high winds and rain rain rain with flooding. I thought I might be spared with the flooding because I have 3 sump pumps running 24-7 but with torrential down pours I can't keep up and the cellar is leaking. SOOOOOOO the build is on hold till the water level drops and my pumps can once again keep up. I hope the power doesen't fail then I'll be owning a house boat!!Regards a real Grumpy BILL

Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
What a hero! Makes the sort of excuses we make for not getting into the workshop seem pretty feable! First he has an op, then he struggles down the stairs into the cellar, and to top it all he wades to the model! Bill - your my sort of aeromodeller mate I'll raise my glass to you BEB

Big Bandit
Bill, Sorry to hear about the bad weather mate, we moan about the weather over here all of the time, but if we had to put up with the sort of storms you have, we would have something to moan about. Keep up the good work, it's looking good . Look after yourself, Chris.
BILL PETTIT
Steve & Ann: I have spread the word about the Mass Charity Build to benefit Arthritis Research to a few of my buddies and so has Rich with a lot of interest going toward his 3 in 1 Twist, so you may be getting a few orders coming your way for WebBit kits. We may be a little late but we are ENTHUSIASTIC about participating. Well back to the cellar for a little building. Regards Bill
