Ben B
Also a bit wierd the call it large scale when it's got a wingspan of only 1600mm! Not exactly mahusive!
Olly P
so I shouldn't have clicked Buy it Now? Good thing I didn't - mind he has 3 so plenty of decision time. I thought it came with a top of the range tx too at that price, then read the description....
David Ashby - Moderator
Spot on Tim. It's always curious when pictures of the full size aircraft are used to illustrate eBay ads and the video is of a smaller model. The words 'caveat emptor' certainly spring to mind. Martin Harris - Moderator
Looking at his other aircraft for sale I'd guess that he's stuck an extra 1 in the price by accident, making it a slightly more realistic £174.99 - all his other similar models are in the sub-£200 bracket. Tim Mackey
I thought that may be the case too...and have contacted him earlier today to clarify.
Steve Hargreaves - Moderator
I love the words "Large Scale" & "Massive" when applied to a 1600mm wingspan..... I guess this makes my 1m models merely "Large" in comparison.....my 65" Wot5 must be bordering on full size then.......
Terence Lynock
So where does my 4 metre span Pearl fit into all this then?.........

Obviously I won't name him so as to save any possible embarrassment. BEB PS Psst,...Tom T,... was that OK? Be fair though, he's selling it because it's very rare. After all it's a "super 60 kel craft." All the other (common) ones you see are Keil Kraft Super 60s! Though I have to admit, some of my planes have been in better condition than that one after their final crash!
Andy Green
It looks better than my Super 60 I'm building for the Vintage mass build Andy

Peter Miller
Is it my imagination or has that box been taken out of the little building up the garden, the one with the crescent moon hole cut in the door. There does seem to be a hole in the middle under the model
Myron Beaumont
Hmm Given me an idea ! Make my "Porta-Potti" into a dual purpose flight box .Now how do I adapt the flush to fill up fuel tanks ? It would be more comfortable than the usual broomstick seat on top of the Ripmax box as well .Very convenient .
Paul Marsh
More interesting stuff: and...wait for it haha! Edited By Paul Marsh on 10/02/2012 21:17:
John Privett
Good grief, Paul. Don't tell me those are pics of stuff that's for sale on ebay? Don't tell me, the description reads, "Fair condition, but needs finishing" or "A few bits may be missing"...
Peter Miller
Actually there is some good stuff on those relics. The tricycle undercarriage "biplane" is interesting, some really strange engineering and design on that and one wonders where the CG was with that long nose. Worth looking at the pictures. On the other hand, have a look at this. Tattyfilarious I can't help feeling that a couple of pounds worth of Solarfilm might have made it worth a bit more. Paul Marsh
Yep, that is! Just for fun, I've got a couple of knackered airframes, which I might put on ebay - see how much it will get. I've got a glider with missing fin, and a trainer-sort model with missing tailplane - crashed! Imagine taking the models to a swopmeet - you'd get some funny looks! However, both models are in much better condition than the two above! Advertised here:Edited By Paul Marsh on 11/02/2012 09:35:
