Paul Marsh
Posted by Peter Miller on 25/04/2012 18:48:33: Now this one is worrying. Note that it is said to be "NEW". Now notice that the backplate has been fitted the wrong way round. Also there seems to be a spare (I hope) piston in the box. I think I will ask a question. Here It's not even an Enya, Looks like a 20/25 FP.
Daithi O Buitigh
It now says 'Used' (and the silencer is clearly marked 'OS' Edited By Daithi O Buitigh on 25/04/2012 21:13:
Martin Harris - Moderator
The description is still (and always has been) AFAIA ENYA Model Engine box containing brand new unused OS 25 Engine So at least that part is unambiguous...unlike the state of the engine and miscellaneous parts! Daithi O Buitigh
Lower down in description it does say 'Used'
John Privett
So it's a used, brand new engine! I think that's what he's saying... And it's for sale in a box with a price tag of £89.95, though perhaps that was for the Enya engine that must have occupied the box at one time! Love to know where the "spare" piston comes from. Stephen Grigg
E Bay dont like you using the word NEW,because its already been sold once so even if its New it has to be advertised at least as refurbished

Steve W-O
Posted by richard cohen on 25/04/2012 20:02:14: Now this chap is the definition of an ebay optimist !!! if i could £500 for my old 9Zap i would be properly happy ,.....link Some poor sucker will think that it must be the latest model because of the price. Maybe someone should ask him if added spare 0s to the price by mistake.

Steve Hargreaves - Moderator
Or rip the plug lead off......where's that gone then??
Paul Marsh
Probably not gone round to fixing it. I've got a smaller Yak54, with a petrol, like my petrol Sukhoi, has a neat petrol installation, with just the plug cap and exhaust exiting at tjhe bottom. I suppose one could buy the model, then find about getting a new cowl, to replace the bodged engine installtion on this one. Steve W-O
63" is the same size as the Mentor. I wonder how the Mentor would go with that engine? (probably the engine would go and leave the Mentor behind) I also wonder why it is being sold without flying, it couldn't have been cheap. I don't think it is all that bad, probably quite good compared with some of the other items seen
Daithi O Buitigh
From the looks of the photos it seems to have been a 'dry run' and not fully assembled (the parts have just been placed together from the photos (cowl is askew in one, wings droop in another)
