David Ashby - Moderator
Very impressive sir. Taken in your garden? Talking of birds and gardens, we had a squadron come down this week that I snapped with the phone camera - there are 140 Starlings there and that would go a long way to explaining why my newly seeded patch needs re-seeding. Ultymate
David my garden's the best part of an acre and is infested with badgers most nights you should see the mess they make if you think starlings are bad. Ultymate
Got this yesterday, two guys who've been contracted to hunt rabbits on the site of the old motte and bailey castle that's just beyond our garden. She's an eight year old Harris Hawk and goes by the name of Jess. I was hoping to get some flying shots but on release she went straight to the top of an oak tree, I hung around for about an hour but had commited to go model flying and had to leave apparently she was above her hungry weight for flying and they had to hang around for another couple of hours before she returned to the fist. Anyway I hope to meet up with them again and get some flying shots.
