Simon Chambers Posted November 1, 2012 Share Posted November 1, 2012 I would highly doubt if its the same visual quality as a GoPro. GoPro's are good enough for production filming - infact a lot of the modern action shots you see on TV are done with GoPros. The quality of a picture/video has a large part due to the lens and the noise, responsiveness and sensitivity of the CCD element. Both to do well can't be done cheap. The number of Pixels doesn't have much relation to this. This is why SLR's are expensive and most optics are often the same or more than the camera body itself!
