Phil Green
The 2013 PANDAS Single-Channel and Retro Radio Control Fly-In will be held on Sunday June 16th at Pontefract Park, located in the South-West corner of M62 junction 32. Its a chance for all Single-Channel and Retro R/C enthusiasts to get together and relive the old days, with equal amounts of banter, burgers and button-bashing! We've opened it up to Retro models this year so we all have something to fly even if the wind scuppers the S/C flying! Phil Green
What a fantastic day! The slight breeze disappeared by noon and we had some long-awaited perfect conditions! We counted 120 models, and 80+ visitors of which 42 signed in for flying. Here's a collection of clips from the day, bit of a hasty edit but it'll do for now and Doug has more video to come I'm hoping we can pool photos as there were a lot of people with cameras there and I never take enough! Huge thank you to the club members who did all the hard work to make the day run so smoothly! Watch for Neil winding his Elmic escapement, the three Galahads in formation, Shauns Sky-Skooter, Terry's Boomer Bus, Phil Kent's one-wheel then-the-other touch-and-goes, and the OXO tin S/C propo transmitter! Chris Bott - Moderator
Looks like a fantastic day Phil. I really am going to have to make it to one of these. I do have the Matador all ready with the Frog 150 and the S/C setup, to fly at Greenares this weekend at least.
