David Ashby - Moderator
A little own-design that's been absorbing over the last couple of months. It's a balsa version of the Crack Turbo Beaver.....a balsa Fun Cub of sorts perhaps? I'll let you know after the first flights in due course. Geoff Peacock
As good as finished - after only 5 years and 3 months, my DHC-2 Beaver. I build slowly and sporadically! It got 2nd prize at my club's 'Winter Build Comp' in March 2014, even though it took 5 winters. Built from a Traplet plan, it's 72" wingspan, with flaps and an Irvine .46 (OS-built) and dustbin silencer under the cowl.

Geoff Peacock
Posted by David Ashby - RCME on 11/03/2014 19:51:36: Posted by ken anderson. on 11/03/2014 19:18:27: Geoff, very nice, I like that. Thanks for your very kind (and quick) comments. I'm currently 'writing up' a build blog for the Beaver - from various pencil-scribbled notes which I made as I went along. It's already 12 A4 pages with photos and diagrams. I'll hopefully post it on here when it's finally finished: don't worry, it won't take another 5 years! Paul Marsh
Flew the GWS Stearman on Monday. Went well, considering I only bought it for £10, and the servos were scrapped off another model. Peter Miller
Hi Gary. Very smart indeed, both of them. That colour scheme on the Midget Mustang looks really great. Beautifully executed as well.
