The Dawn Flyer's Club House

Recommended Posts

I cannot wait to start on it John, which will be this weekend, but as I have to order in the motor I will have to start on the wing and tail first. Would I be right in thinking (haven't checked, just come to mind) that a WOT-4 motor would be of similar size? I'll have to check, get back to you in a minute!

Some flying shots of our Dawn Flyer. Not had any problems with tip stalling at slow speed, we have steamed washout into the ailerons. Also added a bit more dihedral to the wings - models often look like they have anhedral if they are setup with only a small amount of dihedral.

It flys very nicely and looks best cruising around with gentle loops but is capable of rolls, inverted and knife edge aerobatics.
