Martyn K
Looking great. And that workshop space looks amazing However, -10 points - I can see a Heli which you have failed to cover/hide properly for this photo... Martyn
Terence Moore
Thanks Martyn. Workshop is a converted small barn, and the reason for not "downsizing"!!!!!!! Yes I am trying with egg beater.......on mode 1. Now trying to decide on colour scheme for model.......traditional "classic" style of the period, or psuedo military!!! Terence Moore
Apologies to all viewers of this build diary for the lengthy gap of inactivity. Have been concentrating on othr build projects, as well as trying to get to grips with learning to fly heli's on mode1.. Hope to recommence soon with final fit out and finishing
Terence Moore
Have now completed the airframe and covered in a psuedo ETPS Hunter scheme.....now to fit out, with tank; engine; pipe etc, then the radio gear before engine runs & set up. Terence Moore
Ran up the K&B 100 today for the first time. Needle open 3 turns, throtle open, prime, glo stick on, touch with starter & instantly into life. Thanks to Terry Westropp who I bought the motor off. Tickover good, just screwed in the low setting needle by 1/4 turn for clean pick up. One or two items to attend to, full check over and hoping to fly in next 2 weeks. Awesome power with the 13"x8" three bladed prop & 10% Propower fuel, nearly pulled the stand over on full throttle!!!!!! Reasonable quiet on this pipe as well.
