Peter Jenkins
The latest recommendation for my book comes in the November issue of KFactor (the NSRCA's newsletter) which has a report by the Treasurer who has bought and read my book and says that "It is a good book and definitely one to keep in your library." The NSRCA is the USA's specialist aerobatic group and is similar to the BMFA's GBRCAA. This follows a comment by the President of the NSRCA in an earlier newsletter saying he bought the book and wished he'd had something like it when he started flying precision aerobatics. Andrew Palmer, who flies in the New Zealand F3A team, has also published a very helpful review of my book in his Club and the National newsletters. You can buy the book (£19.99) or Kindle (£6.99) from Amazon (link). I note that Amazon currently are promoting the book by reducing the price to £16.99! I'm not sure how long this promotion will last as it is an Amazon initiative. Alternatively, PM me with your address and I can send you a copy by first class post for £15.50 - that is if you are in the UK. Outside the UK costs more for postage but I have sent books to New Zealand. In the 7 months since publishing the book, sales have just passed 400 world-wide. With Christmas coming into view, this might be a good time to drop a hint about a Christmas present or else get one for someone you know might benefit from the book. Peter Jenkins
Just to let you know that Amazon's special price of £16.99 has now expired so it's back to £19.99 plus shipping if you are not a Prime customer. The book is still available from me at £15.50 posted first class to the UK. Other countries will require higher postage costs. PM me with your country and I'll let you have posted price. Peter Jenkins
In Dec 2021, at the GBRCAA AGM, the decision was taken to change the Clubman Schedule. This has many new manoeuvres as well as being slightly longer. I am now well on the way to publishing Edition 2 of my book that will cover not only the new Clubman Schedule but also the Intermediate Schedule since a few pilots have decided to use the Intermediate as the first competition schedule they wish to fly. I will post here when Edition 2 is available most probably by the end of January 2022.
Silver Wolf
That is good news. Found the first edition very useful, just about got to grips with clubman then they changed it! Looking forward to next edition and the inclusion of the intermediate schedule will be most welcome. Thank you for update. SW
Peter Jenkins
As I mentioned above, at the December AGM of the GBRCAA, a motion was passed that completely changed the existing Clubman Schedule. I took the decision, therefore, to update the section in my book for the Clubman Schedule. As I had had a number of suggestions for improving the book, I took the opportunity of incorporating these suggestions. I also changed the Practice Routines chapter as it was no longer much use with the new Clubman and then took the opportunity of adding a description of how to fly the Intermediate Schedule as an Annex. A few pilots, who are more experienced at aerobatics, are now entering competitions at the Intermediate Schedule level, the next schedule after the Clubman. This has resulted in the book increasing in size from 136 pages to 189 pages. Unfortunately, this has pushed up the price but I hope you will think that Edition 2 is well worth the price. The book is available on Amazon (link) and in the UK, the price is £24.99 for the paperback and £8.99 for the Kindle version. I have had comments that the Kindle is not as good as the paperback as regards the diagrams so, please remember that. Looks like Amazon are offering next day delivery with Prime. Alternatively, you can buy the book from me for £15.49 plus p&p (£3 within the UK). I will have to wait until next week before I get any stock so if you would like to buy a copy from me, please send me a PM with your address and I'll send you an invoice with instructions on how to pay. If you have any comments on the book, please feel free to PM me.
Nigel Grant 1
I see Amazon Australia have Peters book available and the listed price plus postage to NZ makes it a reasonable price. I found plenty of great material in the first edition so the new edition with another 50 pages will be very good value. Peter Jenkins
Thanks Nigel. For UK addresses, I'm afraid that the Post Office has increased postage for this type of large letter and so I've had to increase p&p to £3.50. Sorry. So, total cost of the book from me will be £18.99 for UK addresses. On the plus side, I now have stock and have posted out the books that were bought last week. Peter Jenkins
Big thank you to Kevin Crozier for including a 1/2 page write up on Edition 2 of my book in the current, March, issue of RCM&E. Check out page 8. If you would like to take up my offer to forumites, you can buy the book from me at a reduced rate compared with that on Amazon. Just PM me with your name and address and I'll send you an invoice for £18.99 including first class post and packing to UK addresses. I can send to other countries but will need to add the additional postage. It will still be cheaper than the Amazon price of £24.99 plus postage (unless you are a Prime member). It is usually next day delivery provided I can get the package in to the last post of the day.

Peter Jenkins
I recently received a review of Edition 2 of my book from Andrew Palmer. Andrew flies in the the New Zealand F3A Aerobatics team and has represented NZ in many World and Continental Championships. He posted this comment on FaceBook and is happy for me to use it here: Interested in radio control aerobatics (or just improving your model setup and flying)? Peter Jenkins (UK aerobatic flying enthusiast) has recently released a second edition of his book "Model Aircraft Precision Aerobatics". This second edition is a book I would thoroughly recommend to anyone starting out in aerobatic flying. It also contains some good words of advice to more experienced pilots. Well done Peter! If you would like a copy you can buy one from Amazon ( in the UK use this link https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09QN72NVK or just type Model Aircraft Precision Aerobatics into your country Amazon) as either a Kindle (£8.99) or paperback (£24.99) Alternatively, forumites can buy the paperback book from me by sending me a PM to get the process going. For UK based members, the cost will be £18.99 including first class post and packing. I am happy to sell to others in the world but will need to apply the appropriate postage costs.

Peter Jenkins
Hi Folks Just to clarify following a PM to me, I am still selling these books to members of this forum at £18.99, including 1st class post to UK addresses. I can also send to other geographies but will need to get a postage cost before quoting a final cost. However, it will always be cheaper than the Amazon price.. Plus, if you would like me to write a message to you and sign it I would be happy to do so. You won't get that through Amazon of course! Peter Jenkins
Current world-wide sale of the book now stands at 715! If you want a copy of the book, please PM me with your name and address. I'm selling the Edition 2 version to Forum members at £15.49 plus £3.50 for P &P. Alternatively, you can buy the book from your local Amazon - just type in "Model Aircraft Precision Aerobatics" and it should come up. The Amazon UK link is here. In the UK, Amazon charge £24.99 for the paperback or £8.99 for the Kindle version. If you are buying the Kindle version, use the PC or Mac version of the Kindle viewer (which is free) as a Kindle device will only give you a B&W presentation and will not zoom diagrams correctly! Peter Jenkins
Since the re-hosting of this website, the number of views counter was reset. So, I am a little surprised to see that the number of views since February has now reached 15.9 k yet there have been very few posts and mostly by me! I'd love to know what you guys are looking at and why? In the meantime, the book that I wrote as a result of starting this post has now just clicked over to 802 copies sold - both via Amazon and directly by me. That has exceeded my most optimistic estimate of the number of books that would be bought! Thank you to those of you who have filled in the Amazon review page on my book. There are some good ones that were posted in the US in September 2022 - this month even! Best regards Peter

Peter Jenkins
There is a very useful review of my book in this month’s RCM&E in Keith Jackson’s Aerobatic Scene column – see pages 71 and 72. The book was reviewed by Kevin Caton, a long time member of the UK Aerobatic Team from an “improver” aspect! I was also sent a photograph (credit to Mark Allen) of the current World F3A Aerobatic Champion, Christophe Paysant-Le Roux, having a quick read of my book. He had been asked to autograph it so that the book could be offered as a prize by the UKF3A Association. CPLR has agreed to allow me to use this photo to publicise the book – I guess that means that the 9 times World Champion thought it might be some good! The advert below appeared in the March edition of the US F3A Body’s newsletter. While it links to the US Amazon site, you can find the book on most other Amazon sites just type "Model Aircraft Precision Aerobatics" into the the search box Alternatively, you can buy a copy of the book from me by sending me a PM with your name and address. For UK based purchasers, the cost of the book will be £18.99 including post and packing. Peter Jenkins
Hi Folks Amazon will be increasing the price of printed books across the board from 12 am UTC on 20th June 2023. It looks likely that this will add just under £3 to the price of the print version of this book. Till then, the price remains at £24.99. The Kindle version price remains unchanged at £8.99. I will let you know what the new price will be once I have had notification from Amazon. I still have 10 print copies of Edition 2a, the latest, for sale at £18.99 1st class post and packing included. I guess the print cost increase is only to be expected given the increases in raw materials and labour. Peter
Peter Jenkins
Hi Folks Just to confirm that the increase in Amazon printing costs has now pushed the paperback version of my book up to £29.82. The Kindle version remains at £8.99. I still have several copies of the paperback version of Edition 2 that I am selling for £18.99 p&p included. Once they have gone, I will have to reflect the increase in printing costs to me and they will become £20.98 (Inc p&p) so a considerable saving over purchasing directly from Amazon. Just PM me if you are interested in buying a copy. Thanks Peter

My book has also been reviewed in RCM&E for both Edition 1 and 2 and received very favourable comments. Peter Jenkins
Hot off the press! This evening, someone bought the 1,000 th copy sold of my book from Amazon Germany. My book has been bought in 10 countries around the world despite it being available only in English. Sales through Amazon are 530 paperbacks and 327 Kindles, while I have sold 143 paperbacks. This has surpassed my wildest expectations. However, it also means that 1,000 folk think enough of it to buy it! If you would like a paperback copy then please send me a PM with your name and address. I still have 3 copies available at £18.99 posted first class for UK addresses but will get a quote for sending you a copy if you are outside the UK. If you want a Kindle, please buy that from Amazon. Once I have sold my existing stock of books, I will have to charge £21.99, incl first class post for the UK, to cover the increased cost of printing being charged by Amazon. Note this is a little higher than the £21.68 I quoted in the post immediately above.
