I know that the plan is to land going forwards but what about any sideways movement - wind etc? Looking at the plan, there's a mm or two clearance in a teardrop shape all around the fairing space. Oh, and if you never get sideways winds when landing there then you're lucky. In God's REAL own county, we have them all the time. Danny Fenton Posted December 5, 2014 Share Posted December 5, 2014 I think you will find the strips on the wing leading edges at the root are stall inducing, so that the tips stall AFTER the root.
