Martyn K
Just spotted this on the GBRCAA Forum. A bit new to be a classic but still a classic nonetheless Loaded Dice Martyn
Geoff S
Actually it's advertised here, too. **LINK** Geoff
Jack Banner
Looks good, what would a 'sensible' offer be for it? ?70?
Martyn K
No idea what its worth, but Holmes Chapel is only 8 miles from my house and I will happily collect & store and if required, complete, fly and crash it for you as well. Jack Banner
Now, that is a generous offer Martyn. Especially the crashing bit I am tempted but have so many unfinished, unstarted and unrepaired airframes at the moment that I don't dare buy another. It's a sickness! Adrian Smith 1
I built a Loaded Dice from scratch some years back and it flew very well until I wrote it off. Sadly I don't have room in my squadron for it.
Paul Marsh
The LD was a great model. I know the seller for years and has flown in aerobatic comps. Infact bought some servos off him today, as I live in the same area, about 10 mins away. If anyone wants the model, I can pick it up and take to a swapmeet/ Weston Park in the dark, for example, as long as I can give him the funds first. terry westrop
Just noticed this; there's over £150 worth of materials in that model! However, the rules for UKCAA require nothing post 1996 (2 metre). Good rule as it constrains costs. A bargain at £150 & I do believe it's flight capability is 'adequate'......... Bob Cotsford
here's another on BMFA
terry westrop
& with retracts Bob! At 6' long it's the IIs, most effective of the 60 size, but best powered by the Webra 80 or similar.
Hangar 9 nut
Hi Terry that one can also be bought as rtf with YS 110 its been knocking around on different sites for a while now,the canopy doesn't look right to me !
terry westrop
Correct Hangar 9, the canopy is not as original. But attaching the canopy well is not an easy task for most. I suspect the cowl is not fitted either, probably due to the FS110 installation. Hope the servos are at the back as that motor will encourage a nose heavy situation. However, all that for £80...............
Bob Cotsford
It certainly sounds like a bargain for someone, a glass/paint finished classic for half the price of any ARTF.
terry westrop
Yes, Bob, loadsa work for the money too. I've still got your plans stored safe, so whenever you need them, let me know. It's a very cold day here & I'm thinking....which classic to build next.....
Hangar 9 nut
RTF its £275 at last count but coming down slowly lol !
terry westrop
So, it's not £80 all in Hangar 9.....? I've only noticed the one price.
Bob Cotsford
No, he does state no motor, no servos. But then the ARTF Curare was anywhere between £180 and £330 and that didn't have retracts, servos or an engine so by that standard it's not bad for the finished airframe. terry westrop
Spring air retracts 'were' (1980's) around £100. Still got a set or two, new, awaiting a model appropriate..
Hangar 9 nut
its been advertised on lots of sites in all different configurations it started at £350 rtf !
Hangar 9 nut
RTF is now £275 on ebay airframe only with retracts is £80 ive been watching it for maybe 3 months ! Edited By Hangar 9 nut on 17/02/2016 21:09:
terry westrop
Not seen it on ebay. I presume there are some expensive servos installed for the higher price. But still, £80 with U/C....? Is it heavy maybe? (if it's paint all over)
