Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator Posted December 19, 2015 Share Posted December 19, 2015 Hi Henri, we have used a number of this type of mount on various systems - mainly for data gathering and survielance/tracking of animals etc. from UAVs. While I can't report 100% faultless operation, we have had one or two that can be a bit "glitchy", generally speaking I would say "yes" they are reliable system that functions well. One interesting thing we have noticed is that quality of operation doesn't seem to correlate particularly well with cost! Some of the best we have used have been low-cost systems from HobbyKing, whilst one of those that did give us a few issues was a high end system costing much more!
