The radius of the stab leading edge is big, so the laminates bend around without problems. Wing tips are differrent though (when using 2mm laminates, 1 mm might go without soaking. Lucas Hofman Posted February 8, 2017 Share Posted February 8, 2017 I will check tonight John. The fin is around 5 gr: It was made from leftovers from the Ballerina spars (hard 1/4'' square balsa). Could have been lighter with regards to aerodynamic loads in flight but som surplus strenght is fine to withstand transport dungs (car door frames and the like). Momentum taking over the design and build? I'd go with "keeping the tail as light as possible" Are you keeping it as it is or rebuilding?
