Martyn K
I now have the location of the airfield for Sunday 2 July 2017 SatNav 51.995412, 0.070833 Nearest Postcode SG8 8LS The field is shared with the Nuthampstead Shooting Ground. Not exactly the same location. On arrival, the gate should be open. Arrive from the west (A505/A10). From Nuthampstead, follow the narrow lane until you get to Countrywide Pest Control. Turn left, past Barn Bulls farm and take the second right. Drive through the Shooting club area and follow the lane until the end. When you get to the junction you are there. Please let me know (PM with email address) if you would like to attend and I'll send a detailed map. If you wish to fly you will need a BMFA FW A certificate as a minimum. Best wishes Martyn Edited By Martyn K on 28/06/2017 19:49:
Martyn K
We had a great event yesterday. I was a bit apprehensive about the travel (330 mile round trip) but it was more than worthwhile. A superb location, glorious sunshine and a brisk cross wind (that diminished during the day) to contend with. A few photos. 9 out of 11 pilots.. The Ford's Atlas. New member David Chinery's Peter Russell Striker. Very distinctive in the air No mistaking that profile Peter Burgess' Adagio from a Steve Dunning kit. We had a 2 round Pick 5 contest with 6 competitors. Once again Brian Ball did the honours as CD, Judge and Scribe Results were as follows: 1. Shelley Redworth 2. James Ford 3. Greg Butterworth They all received a virtual multi plaque shield Many thanks to Royston MAC for hosting this event. Next event is at Retford on the 16th July Edited By Martyn K on 03/07/2017 10:55:
