Roger Jepps
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help with the instructions for a Flair Kite trainer kit. I believe the kit is now out of production. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Many thanks

Ed Spark
Hi Roger, I recently bought a second hand Kite which has a tricycle undercart i.e non-steering (Grrrrr....). so ground handling is awkward. Making it steerable is possible, but would need some undesirable surgery to the engine mount and firewall area, so I would prefer to change to a tail-dragger which could easily be made steerable. I will need to move the main wheels forward of the Centre of Gravity and although I can guesstimate where they should be fixed, it would be best to have the accurate position from the instructions. I hope you (or others) can help me with this. Cheers Ed
john stones 1 - Moderator
Always done wheels on a taildragger to leading edge of wing myself, behaves itself there.
