Yes – careful as ever is the correct approach.

And to be fair to Matty’s warnings there are differences with a switched Rx. As I said the greatest risk is at a change of state, and with a switched Rx the greatest risk is probably at switch OFF – you think it is all over and are relaxed, but if the Rx doesn’t switch off cleanly it could cause the motor to twitch as it dies, so be extra careful at that point.

Golden rule again – keep clear of the prop, and the model restrained, until the battery is disconnected.
