I couldn't find any other Oleo's that would allow for a bigger wheel, and fit in the wing, without major modifications being required. I think it should be fine - time will tell. Geoff Gardiner Posted February 17, 2019 Author Share Posted February 17, 2019 Tail end is finished. I had to build the rudder twice as the first one warped. What have people done for the tail wheel. There is no reinforcement built into the fuselage! I knocked this up with my 3d printer: The M4 bolt has some fuel tube around which acts as a shock absorber (of sorts). It's castering, as suggested on the plan, but can be fixed if it proves too unstable (weather cocking).
