Zflyer
Sutton Coldfield Radio Control Aero Club has been around for well over 60yrs. Currently the club uses its Fradley site which has both tarmac and grass runways and caters for fixed wing and multi rotor advocates. Due to HS 2 the club are having to relocate and have secured a site at Hademore near Lichfield. It is a grass runway with space for both disciplines. It is hoped that a new cub hut and toilet block will be up and running in the near future certainly in time for the funfly later this year. The club is open to new members so please look us up http://www.scrcac.bmfa.org
Danny Fenton
I was a member for many years and can vouch for it being a friendly and well run club
Bob Cotsford
I bet most of us Brummie flyers have been a member at one time or another, for me it was in the '70s or '80s when Sutton Park went from an open site to club only. The park made it a much more family friendly day out than some flying sites. Unfortunately it was a bit of a trek across/around the City for me, Lichfield is even more of a trek. I wish you well though. It seems most clubs are looking for new blood, Marston Green MFC (http://www.mgmec.net/) for one also has vacancies. Sorry, just realised it was Sutton Park MAC that I was a member of, a different club entirely Edited By Bob Cotsford on 19/02/2019 11:52:
