Not sure how they compare to anything else as these are my first. The spring tension feels strong so I will see how they go as I don't want to buy a lot if they damage the balsa. Cuban8 Posted September 22, 2019 Share Posted September 22, 2019 I've got a few of the larger cheapy clamps and they can Suffer a fatigue failure just behind the pivot of the flexy bit where there's a sharp right angle moulded into the plastic. Usually lets go when clamping a large assembly and you're quietly doing something else in the workshop. Really makes you jump when it springs off.
