Geoff,

have you flown yours yet ?
Mine headed for the sky’s last week for the first time, it was certainly very slippy well actually it was very very fast.

Take off with very little breeze was at only 1/2 - 3/4 throttle. Only had 3 flights so far but it really seams to be a very crisp performing aeroplane. Very pleased.

Hi Tim,

I have probably had about a dozen or so flights with mine. Mine needs to fly with a bit of up elevator trim so I may have not got the wing incidence quite correct (balance seems OK). That said, I am really enjoying flying this one.

I built it with a mind to practising for my 'B' cert at some point and I think it is well suited for the job.

Oodalally still going strong.

 

I have had to change the motor again as the Emax one started to make some horrible noises.

 

I am now using a Propdrive V2 3548 1100Kv motor.

 

With an 11x7 prop, on a 4s battery at storage (3.8v / cell)

I am getting:

 

864W @ 63A

 

The AUW has come down a bit to 2150g.

 

Flies a bit quicker know.
