Dad_flyer Posted May 24, 2020 Author Share Posted May 24, 2020 I put the card template outside the 1/8"thick cowl. It is a lot further round so the hole was too high up. That only meant that I had to make it longer by opening it out more at the bottom. It still looks OK. Now to screw it on and trim the sides flush. It was an easy fix and just a simple error, we have all done that.............more than once !! Plus you can now get to the motor mount screws.... D.D. Instead lockdowns cancelled so much flying in the year of the 60th, and the uncovered wings of Kakadu have been doing service as part of my background in remote working instead.
