Yes, you can still buy the cartridges or even a bigger gas cylinder which needs a special nozzle adaptor

I noticed on closer examination that there is an adaptor fitted below the motor . These freeflight models maybe the less stressful way to go and fun

Yes, a small dia male nozzle which is piped to a small alum reservoir. I think you hold the prop and charge but how do you know when there is just enough/tooooo much gas in there? (bang!)

 

I think I paid £15 for it about 20 years ago.

Not sure how to go about fixing it up. smiley

Convertible to R/C with electric motor?? Looks like some have been shown on the link above/plan.
