Caveman
Jack, type 'Mijet glider' into Google and you will find plenty of info. There is a discussion on RC Groups about the Mijet II, and the penultimate posting gives an email address which may be helpful. See here. Robin Colbourne
Just came across this unfinished slope soarer on Facebook Marketplace. Is it a Mijet? The description says 1.8M span; I thought a Mijet was smaller than that? Mijet ? Aerobatic Slope Soarer on Facebook Marketplace
Piers Bowlan
I had a Mijet flying wing back in the eighties built from a free plan in Silent Flight magazine but it may have been 'Midjet?' Don't have the plan anymore though. Edited By Piers Bowlan on 01/12/2020 14:56:

Robin Colbourne
Hi Piers, I know the model you mean. The Mijet was a popular kit in the 1970s. Here's an ad for it: Edited By Robin Colbourne on 01/12/2020 16:03:
GrumpyGnome
I had one back in the day. Spent many happy hours throwing it around over the sea at The Gower and Rhossilli.... thought it was expensive at the time Flew nicely - I learnt aerobatics with it. Steve Houghton 1
A few years ago I bought a couple of thermal soarers from a nice elderly chap called Colin who loved to talk about his history of RC model flying. Colin was the designer of the Mijet slope soarer and he sent me these two pictures of him flying it in the Malvern hills. The pics were taken in 1974/75. Andy Stephenson
Steve, I think I remember Colin wasn't he from Birmingham, he had something to do with JDM around that time. Andy.

Andy Stephenson
Andy, You're right that was Colin Prior, he insisted I fly his Veron Impala when I was new to the slope and he gave me some great tips. A.
