Edgeflyer
Is your screen physically damaged or not responding to touch?

Lindsay Fields
The problem started with the screen not responding to touch, irrespective of the sensitivity setting, which, as you can well appreciate, was quite inconvenient. The next development was a random selection of menus, totally unrelated to what I was doing eg. the timer menu would open or the model selection menu, all un-commanded. The final straw was actual 'cracks' appearing 'in' the screen, apparently on the underside, because the screen is smooth to the touch. I will take a photo and include it in the next post Thanks for the feed back and I'll contact SMC - I haven't tried Germany yet but that will be an option if help in the UK is unavailable
Martian
I have uncovered a number of posts relating to this range of Graupner tx and they all suggest it is caused by a mounting problem of the screen and by removing some of the offending plastic their problems were cured
