Gary Hawksworth
I have aquired a glider with a damaged fusulage and no canopy which I'm hoping to repair. Its a v tail with a tip to tip wingspan of 2.24M. The fusulage is GF and the wings appear to be glass covered. Could anyone advise me what it is please and possibly tell me anything about it? MattyB
Posted by Gary Hawksworth on 05/11/2020 17:12:58: Sorry I have not managed to load the images but they can be seen here It looks a bit like a V-tailed Graupner Cherry, but that had a plastic fus and built up wings. Not sure tbh (Google Image search also drew a blank), but looks like it should have decent soaring performance off the slope... Gary Hawksworth
Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately I dont think its what you suggested as the construction methods are different and mine is a V tail. The trailing edges also sweep back slightly on mine near the tips
Miketgd
It's a Pacer G007-H. Hobbyking used to do them. Google Pacer Glider for details.
