JohnnyB
Hi guys, I’m seriously looking at buying, when I can find one, the new Xbox X. But, what I’d like to know is will the brilliant RealFlight simulator run on this console? I would also be interested to know whether the RF9 would run using the Spektrum USB dongle so that I could use my DX6 to control the aircraft. The new Microsoft Simulator is rumoured to be available quite soon to run on this console. Looking forward very much to hearing your comments. John. Geoff S
I'm also interested in the latest version of RealFlight but only if te s/w (and presumably dongle) will work with a Frsky (or any TX come to that) through the trainer port like Phoenix. Anyone know? Geoff
GrumpyGnome
Hi Geoff I use my X9D on v7.5 so would imagine it'll be ok. Was a bit of a faff to set up initially and some models may need channels changing but all adds to the fun. GG
SIMON CRAGG
During this awful period (and with the demise of the Phoenix Sim), I have been thinking about getting Realflight as well. The only concern I have, is will it run ok on my fairly new laptop (ACER Aspire 3)?. If there are any computer boffins out there, I would appreciate your advice! GrumpyGnome
Hi Simon Phoenix is still available - see all the ads for multi-sim on ebay. As it is abandonware, it's legit. I have Phoenix on my Surface and Realflight on my son's ex-gaming rig (mega powerful in comparison). Phoenix has hundreds of downloaded sites and planes from t'internet.
