Hi Kevin,

looking at it it seams the only options for fitting the motor is inverted or upright, 4st motors are popular for scale now mainly for noise reduction, I thought it would be better to have a side mounted motor in a radial cowl to make tank positioning better. Looking good so far, I thought you would sunburst red dye on a Japanese plane.

An ABS moulding would be good, but I don't think the demand would justify the time and costs.

I built it up from off-cuts, the same as the big bits of balsa at the tail will be.

Nothing much to see at the moment.

The wings are being covered and the fuselage planked.

The cowl has been tried on and the elevators made.

I have also been doing some adding up as well.

Does anybody want the uncovered airframe for less than the cost of the wood ?
