Martin Harris - Moderator
Nothing much model related but I had the privilege of, after removing the festive wrapping paper, opening some packaging that allowed the contents to see the light of day for the first time since being sealed away in December 1955 - a brand "new" radiator grill for my Land Rover. buster prop
I got the John Mayall with Eric Clapton CD, the so called "Beano" album because Eric is reading it on the CD cover pic. Brilliant. I saw them in 1965 at the Central R&B club in Gillingham. Edited By buster prop on 26/12/2020 18:52:

Doctor Chinnery
Madame Chinnery really came up trumps this year, ages ago she asked me if there was a plane I'd particularly like as a Christmas present - I said either a Wot4 or AcroWot (build it yourself variety) kit, surprise me. She got me both! I've been wondering why she'd been alternating between smug and slightly shifty recently - now I know. Apparently the idea is to give me something else to do while we're under restrictions - apart from my hour and a half daily walk, daily chores and a great deal of reading there's not a lot you can do this time of year.
