YT/ESM Tigercat

Recommended Posts

I have got hold of an ESM/YT F7F Tigercat which I am going to electrify. I have seen the 4 Max recommended set up but havent had a reply to an enquiry re 3 bladed props so havent decided on a set up yet. Has anyone got the above aircraft and if so what set-up are you using, preferably with 3 bladed props for a more scale look.

Hi,

George's (4-Max) set up is on his web site and if in doubt give him a phone call to discuss your requirements.

Looking at the videos its not short of power using his spec.

PS IMHO 3 blade props don't perform as well as a 2 blade and there are those that display with a three blade and fly on two blade props. Plus if using std/pusher props there is less choice and even less with three blades.

Thanks for the info Chris, interesting re the props. I'm guessing that George is really busy, have tried ringing on several occasions and have sent 2 emails as per his voicemail message but no reply yet. I'm in no rush so not urgent.
