Joakim Karlsson 1
Have been looking around for a kit (or ARF I guess) for this charming ugly duckling. But I have only found a couple of large ones. Would love to see this one around 1.6 - 1.8m, that way you could still fit it with retracts and flaps, and get away with less expensive motors, ESC and batteries. I think this would be a great twin engine trainer plane in a simple and very practical warbird costume. With the placement of the motors vs the stab and fin it would be able to land even if one motor failed. Not like the dreaded P-38 death spin. leccyflyer
HVP Modellbau made a 58" span Hs129b some years ago - mine is on my bench at the moment, being repaired - adding retracts and brushless motors to replace the twin Permax 450 brushed motors. They do turn up now and again in the classified ads or ebay. Here's mine.
leccyflyer
Might be worth contacting Stuart at Hobbyking, who goes by the name of propaghandi here, who had his unstarted kit up for sale a couple of years ago.
kevin b
Hi Joakim. There is a plan for a 36ins (915mm) control line model on Outerzone which could be modified. Have you had a look at the FW 194 ? This is a similar looking aeroplane and there are more plans around.

Piers Bowlan
Joakim, If you are set on building a Henschel 129 how about buying the Sarik 86in span plan and get a local printers to scale it down to 70% size (60in span) or smaller, if you preferred?
