Frank Skilbeck
Very impressive, what printer are you using?
Piers Bowlan
That is truly amazing Upkeep, I didn't realise 3D printing could print parts this accurately. What is its overall length, difficult to get an idea of size from the photos. He said it is an Ender 3 in his OP, Frank.
Upkeep
Its just shy of 16" long. The fan is 7" in diameter and with the cowl the engine is around 8" dia. Yes, all printed on the Ender 3. Its my first and only 3d printer and I found it easy to set up and after 'dialling it in' it does print very accurately. I was surprised at the quality it produced for cheap machine ! The files for this machine come in a couple of versions so if you have smaller bed then some of the parts are split so you can fit them on. The main fan for eg wont fit on my bed in one go so the chap who supplied the files has the fan split into 3 sections. The same goes for the engine cowling. I added a small motor too ? Clip below.
