Thanks John,

That's the one I was thinking of, the Fire-fli. I wonder if anyone ever made one of these. It did however inspire me to design my own model at that time using 3 pieces of 1"x3"x36" balsa which I stuck together, turned on a lathe then separated and hollowed out. It had a Veco19 and a symmetrical wing of about 48" span, it flew amazingly well considering I didn't really know what I was doing back then.
