Gary Binnie
I should have flown them today but the forecast was for light winds so I went to the flat field instead. Next time!
Gary Binnie
Both flew two days ago, also flew my Multiplex Cortina for the first time. All good, really like the Phase 5, will be used quite often I think.

Gary Binnie
A firm grip is required! It was blowing 15 mph at the slope edge, I had a friend launch it. I tried small control movements (left/right/up/down) in his hands to get an idea of the response, very powerful and I was asked to stop!. A gentle push and it was away. I launched the second flight myself (knowing that it was in trim), right hand on the fuselage and left hand on the wing leading edge, I have a transmitter harness that makes doing this (and bungee/winch launching) possible though you have to get on the sticks quickly. Talking of sticks it only needs one to fly it, I still wanted to move my thumb for the rudder! Airbrakes are on the left stick (same as throttle/Mode 2), I didn't use them for the first landing as I went too far back. Itching to fly it again!
