Super Ava Pro wing repair

Recommended Posts

Due entirely to pilot error, my 3.7m Super Ava Pro sailplane had an argument with a small fence post on landing.  This has resulted in a small dent in the leading edge of the centre wing section, between two ribs (see photo).  I believe this is a carbon/Kevlar weave.  Any idea how to go about repairing it?

Thank you.

Pull it back into shape with a pin or sharp scalpel then soak the area in runny superglue. Don't put too much on as will go everywhere. Put a bit on and let it dry then put a bit more on and let that dry. Carry on like this until you have enough thickness to gently sand back to shape and polish up.

My Pulsar had a serious arrival that broke the D box and the spar.  I found this Vladimir Model repair kit from Hyperflight invaluable.

Best £37 I have ever spent.  Enabled a £900 glider to get flying again.

Thank you for that.  I didn't know they sold it!
