Richard Acland
I have been hoping to place an advert on the BMFA website which will include some pictures. Every time I try to load the pictures it tells me the maximum file size is 1024 KB, on checking the file size of my picture taken on my phone it turns out to b 5.6MB and will not load on to my advert. How do I get around this problem. David Ashby - Moderator
Hi Richard, handily, the default photo preview on my desktop will re-size photos too, so I use that. Does your phone have some photo editing options perhaps?
Martin Harris - Moderator
Maybe email it to yourself? Often, there's an option to shrink the size but if you have a PC running Windows then they all have "Paint" built in, in which you can resize a photo. Chris Bott - Moderator
On my Android phone I use an app called Lit Photo to shrink file sizes. I'm sure there are many alternatives too.
Gary Manuel
Why not use the Sandbox on this forum? Add your picture to it, then double click on the picture which allows you to make it any size you want. Richard Acland
Thanks for the replies. I have found that I can crop the pictures on my phone and bring them down to under 1024 kb which means I can now load them on my advert.
