Steve_Wright
So a new old stock DX9, about 4-5 years old with an early 1.X firmware refuses to update from the SD card (supplied 128mb one) Is there a trick to updating them? Do I need to work through the firmwares in order? Thanks
GrumpyGnome
I don't have a DX9 but from my experience in IT, it is always best to update firmware or software in order....... GG
Robert Putley 1
When I purchased my DX9 seven or eight years ago, I found that the supplied did not work. Purchased a fresh (different brand) SD card and hey presto, no probs! So you might give that a try.
Denis Watkins
As Robert says above Steve, I remember at the time, when the DX9 was launched The actual supplied SD Card was an issue Lads at the time bought an High Speed SD Card and this worked

Steve_Wright
Just to close this of, bought a class 4 SD card off amazon, worked fine. Some googling seems to point to earlier gen SD cards being better for them. All up to date now ?
