Frank Skilbeck Posted June 30, 2021 Share Posted June 30, 2021 If it's all 35mhz then as long as you have the correct crystals installed then yes, basically on 35 mhz it is only when you go PCM or over 9 channels that you get incompatibilities. Rich Griff Posted June 30, 2021 Author Share Posted June 30, 2021 Thanks, crystal 66 in each unit. Tx carrier wave spot on but no ripples or movement seen on scope. Rx aerial lead ok to board and servos move when battery connected, but system does not work, stick movement, no servo movement. Servos work on an other set. I would have thought that something would have been visible on a scope from tx and stick movement ? I was told the set did work, it was in an RC car, naughty boy ! It owes me nothing so I will have a look-see in the back of the tx for power supply/bad connection... Would be nice if it worked... Would this tx drive a dual conversion Rx ? Yes it 35meg. Rich Griff Posted July 1, 2021 Author Share Posted July 1, 2021 Thanks for the replies guys. Thanks for the he heads up about manualslib, a great resource but some more investigation needed a think. Not given up on this skysport4 4 combo set yet. Will use scope on the challenger tx to see if any "movement" is seen when twideling the sticks on that. I would have thought some movement or difference in tx signal when sticks moved. We shall see in due course. The lad said the skysport4 used to work, so there is some hope...
